Your mission as Vice-President, Sales and Operations – Propane 

Under the supervision of senior management, you are responsible for all activities related to propane sales and operations. 

You define the strategic orientations of your business unit, ensure its profitability and ensure operational excellence, while placing health and safety and the customer experience at the heart of priorities.

 

Your role as Vice President, Sales and Operations – Propane is to: 

  • Supervise the propane sales team and ensure that growth and profitability objectives are met.
  • Develop and increase the customer portfolio by promoting cross-selling and the "one stop shop" approach.
  • Participate in market analysis, customer segmentation and the development of new products and services.
  • Lead installation, dispatch and service teams to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Ensuring the efficiency, reliability and safety of propane delivery operations.
  • Optimize fleet, route, and operational resource planning to maximize productivity.
  • Place the customer experience at the heart of operational decisions and continuous improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with business units and shared services (Finance, IT, Marketing, CCC, BTC) to improve customer journeys.
  • Participate in corporate transformation projects and organizational efficiency initiatives.
  • Manage budgets, track KPIs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and resource optimization.

To succeed in this role of Vice President, Sales and Operations – Propane, you have:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in administration, management, engineering or related field;
  • An MBA is a strong asset;
  • You have a minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in managing business units or multi-site operations;
  • You have significant experience in operations, sales and operations (propane is an asset, but not required);
  • You have a solid experience in the complete management of a P&L;
  • You have a good understanding of the logistical and operational realities;
  • You are recognized for your mobilizing leadership and your ability to influence;
  • You demonstrate strategic vision, rigor and a strong sense of results;
  • You are comfortable in complex and changing environments;
  • You are bilingual (French and English), given your interactions with internal and external partners.
